Mrs. Monia R. Scott, age 73, of Griffin, passed away on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at Emory Decatur Hospital.
Mrs. Scott was born on July 19, 1945 in Eastborn Sussex, England to the late Gerald Burton and the late Josephine Gardner.
Survivors include her husband of 27 years, Dale Sturgeon, Sr.; daughter, Angie Scott; sons, Dennis Scott, Timothy Scott and Dale Sturgeon, Jr.; and eight grandchildren.
Mrs. Scott’s wishes were to be cremated and a private family service will be held at a later date.
