Mr. Monte Applegate, age 52 of Griffin, passed away Tuesday, December 25, 2012 at his residence.
Mr. Applegate was born in Tulsa, OK on March 28, 1960. He was preceded in death by his father, Lonnie Applegate.
Survivors include his wife, Anna Applegate; daughter and son-in-law, Brittany and Cody Massey; grandchildren, Laci Massey and Cameron Massey; mother and step-father, Inez and Orval Brittain; brother, Scott Applegate; sister and brother-in-law. Denise and Mike Kimbell; nephews, Matt Kimbell, Mitch Kimbell, Jake Applegate, Grant Applegate, and Drew Applegate.
Funeral services for Mr. Monte Applegate will be conducted on Thursday, December 27, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Heritage Funeral Home. Reverend Gene Turkett and Reverend Ron Brooks will officiate. Interment will follow in Griffin Memorial Gardens. Heritage Funeral Home 1512 Williamson Rd.
