Nancy Snyder

Mrs. Nancy Ann Snyder , age 71 of Kingsland, Ga. passed away late Tuesday night, May 13, 2014, at Southeast Georgia Regional Medical Center in Brunswick, Ga.
Mrs. Snyder was born on November 23, 1942 in Washington County, Pennsylvania. She is the daughter of the late Kenneth Donald and Minnie Belle Franks Metz. Mrs. Snyder married Phillip Emmanuel Snyder on November 24, 1962 in Bentleyville, Pa. Mrs. Snyder was an active member of the Southeast Community Church in Kingsland, Ga. She served as a teacher’s aide at the church, hosted a small women’s group and was involved with several church charities. She enjoyed crafting, knitting, crocheting and looming. She also enjoyed the flowers and feeding the birds. Mrs. Snyder will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Mrs. Snyder is survived by her beloved husband, Phil; her children and their spouses, Virginia Ann & Frank Almoney of Spring Grove, Pa., Sandra Lynn & John Farley of Jacksonville, Fl., and Phillip Edward & Barbara Ann Snyder of Abingdon, Md.; her sister, Emily Denny of Bentleyville, Pa.; and her grandchildren, Joshua & Justin Almoney, Christina, Melissa, John, Patrick & Skye Farley, and Rachael Snyder.
Along with her parents, Mrs. Snyder joins her brother, Teddy Metz, in Heaven.
The family will receive friends at 10 AM Friday, May 16, 2014 at the Southeast Community Church in Kingsland and funeral services to follow there at 11AM with Pastor Steve Curtis presiding. Interment will be held at Bel Air Memorial Gardens in Bel Air, Maryland.
For those wishing to make a memorial contribution in lieu of flowers, the family request donations in Mrs. Snyder’s honor be made to Heartland Hospice at 664 Scranton Road, Unit 103 in Brunswick, GA 31520-1946.
