Mrs. Peggy Jean Taylor Burton
April 1, 1955 – July 30, 2015

Mrs. Burton was born on April 1, 1955 in Griffin, GA. She was born from the union of the late George W. Taylor and the late Susie L. Neal. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, John Wesley Taylor and David Lee Taylor. Mrs. Burton was united in Holy matrimony to Lorenzo Burton. She was a member of Hope Well Baptist Church in Lawrenceville, GA.

Survivors include her husband, Lorenzo Burton; children, Tarus (Shantell) Miller of Pompano Beach, FL, Carletha Sylvester, Konchee Walshone (Nat) Moore of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; sisters, Lillian (Calvin) Orr of Pompano Beach, FL, Elaine Taylor of Lawrenceville, GA, Athena Taylor and Marilyn Byars of Griffin; brothers, Sammy Taylor of Lawrenceville, GA and George Taylor of Concord, GA; sisters-in-law, Mary (Leon) Scott of Powder Springs, GA and Jeanette Taylor of Griffin, GA; brothers-in-law, Matthew Mosley, John and Cecil Burton, Ricky, Tony and Bryan Macon; father-in-law, Richard Macon of Pompano Beach, FL; adopted brother, Robert West, Jr. of Deerfield Beach, FL; a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

A funeral service for Mrs. Peggy Taylor Burton will be conducted on Saturday, August 8, 2015 at 1:30 pm in the Chapel of Heritage Funeral Home. Reverend Anthony Taylor will offer the eulogy. Interment will follow in Griffin Memorial Gardens.
