Mrs. Polly Virginia Jinks, age 78, of McDonough, passed away on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at home.

Mrs. Jinks was born on May 24, 1937 in Gay, Georgia, to the late Hugh and Lois Chapple Crook.

Mrs. Jinks is survived by her daughter, Charlotte Gayle Johnson; sons and daughters-in-law, Larry Jerome and Sheila Johnson, and Scottie Lee and Julie Jinks; sister, Edna Shumake; grandchildren, Jordan Johnson, Amanda Johnson, Aubrey Jinks, Hailey Jinks and Maurice Johnson; great grandchildren, Cruz Johnson and Jayden Johnson; and special friends, Shirley Harrelson, Brenda Stewart and Steve Lucas.

Funeral services for Mrs. Polly Virginia Jinks will be held on Sunday, March 6, 2016, at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Heritage Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Sherwood Memorial Park. Friends may visit with the family Saturday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
