At Harrietts Bluff, a small coastal community on Crooked River, brothers (Richard and William Dowling) have posted the following statement.
Our Dad, Randall Arthur Dowling died in the evening on the 30th day of July. After much thought, we decided to handle the "final arrangements " for Dad in the following manner.
Following Dad's wishes, his remains will be cremated.
If we were able to follow tradition, we would have arranged for a "funeral service" in his honor.
Given the current pandemic, if we were to follow tradition, everyone attending would be subjected to additional health risk. We believe that at this point in time, collectively it is in our best interest to postpone the event honoring Dad until such time when the "Covid " health risk to our family and friends abates.
