Mr. Raymond Hester, age 67, of Griffin, GA passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2014 at Emory Saint Joseph’s Hospital in Atlanta.
Mr. Hester was born in Atlanta, GA on September 2, 1946 to the late Willie Floyd Hester and the late Lennie Parker Hester.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia Hester; daughters and sons-in-law, Melissa and Nolan Hill, Lori and Justin McAllister and Indy Hester; grandchildren, Zack Hill, Jacob Hill, Kym Mobley, Jade Fielder, Gussie McAllister and Aiden Hester; one brother and two sisters.
Funeral services for Mr. Raymond Hester will be conducted on Monday, January 20, 2014 at 11 am in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home. Pastor Mike Barnes will officiate. Interment will follow at Jonesboro City Cemetery in Jonesboro, GA. Friends may visit the family on Saturday, January 18, 2013 from 6pm - 8pm at the funeral home.
