Reverend Seaborn “Buck” Scoggins, age 82 of Griffin, GA passed away Sunday, July 15, 2012 at Spalding Regional Medical Center. Reverend Scoggins was the well- known founder of the local area Remember Ministries.
  
  Mr. Scoggins was born on June 7, 1930 in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Carl Scoggins and the late Eula Moke Scoggins. He attended Toccoa Falls Bible College back in the early 1960s. Buck was an evangelist at heart and enjoyed sharing the love of God with everyone whom he came in contact. Reverend Scoggins was a member of Rock Springs Church in Milner, Georgia.
  
  Survivors include his children, Seaborn Scoggins of Lithia Springs, Michael (Carrie) Hutto of Covington, GA, Scott Hutto of Forest Park, GA, Dennis(Dana) Hutto of Riverdale, GA, Angie Landrum of Dallas, GA; several grand-children.
  
  A celebration of life service for Reverend Buck Scoggins will be held on Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Heritage Funeral Home. John Barrow will be in charge of the celebration. Friends may visit the family from 5 p.m. until the service hour at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Buck Scoggins/Remember Ministries in care of United Bank, 505 South Hill Street, Griffin, GA 30224 in memory of Reverend Scoggins.
