Rhudeane Reeves

Ms. Rhudeane “Dean” Alma Reeves, age 92 of Woodbine, Ga., passed away on the evening of Sunday, January 26th, 2025 at Hospice of the Golden Isles in Brunswick, Ga.

Ms. Reeves was born on August 3rd, 1932 in Woodbine, Ga. to the late Henry and Georgia “Lula” Crews.

Ms. Reeves was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was married to Mr. Hugh Reeves in 1958 and they enjoyed 61 years together before his passing in 2019. They had two sons together, Troy and Terry, whom they loved unconditionally. Ms. Reeves worked at Southeastern Bank as a teller for many years. She will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved her.

Ms. Reeves is survived by her son, Terry Reeves of Woodbine, Ga.; her sister, Lula (Harold) Partin of Hawkinsville, Ga.; her brother, David (Meg) Crews of White Oak, Ga.; her grandchildren, Amanda Reeves, James (Alisha) Reeves, and Brian Reeves; and her four great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents, Ms. Reeves was also preceded in passing by her beloved husband, Hugh Reeves; her son, Troy Reeves; her sister, Audrey Bruce; and brothers, Walter Crews and Marion Crews.

Funeral Services will be held at 12 noon Saturday, February 1st, 2025 in the Woods-Wainwright Chapel of the Coastal Camden Funeral Home. Interment will be held privately by the family.
