Richard Paschal Mains , age 52 of Kingsland, Ga. passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 15th, 2016 at his home.
Mr. Mains was born in Charleston, SC on November 14th, 1964. He is the son of Mary Michele Mains and the late Charles Paul Mains, Jr. His family shared, “Richard Mains was never one to take life sitting down. He was a retiree of Lockheed Martin with 26 years of service with the company. In his life, Richard was always on the move; either going to the movies, fishing, shooting guns, playing cards, or just out and about with friends. He loved pampering his wife and would often surprise her with trips or gifts. His sons were his joy and took great pride in watching them grow up and become adults who exhibited the traits he had instilled in them. He loved his grandkids and spent as much time with them as he was able. He will be missed and loved by all he knew.
Mr. Mains is survived by his beloved wife of 22 years Tammy L. Mains; his sons, Michael Q. Keller & wife Ashley, Joshua Keller and Johnny A. Keller & wife Kolby; his mother Mary Mains; his sister, Nicole Fagala & husband EJ; his brother, Paul Mains & wife Maureen; his grandchildren, Analysa, Delanie, Elaina, and Mason Keller; and niece, Carson Fagala.
Calling hours for the Mains family will be from 6 to 8 PM on Thursday, November 17th, 2016 at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 11AM Friday, November 18th, 2016 at the Lighthouse Church of God in St. Marys, Ga. with Pastor Bobby Woods presiding. Pallbearers will be Weston & Josh Dyer, Devon Carter, Stephen & Daniel O’Neal, and Erik & Jody Miller. Interment will follow in Colesburg Cemetery in Woodbine, Ga.
