Robert Bruce

Mr. Robert James Bruce , age 67 of Woodbine, Ga. passed away in the early morning hours of Sunday, June 16 th , 2019 at Southeast Georgia Health System in Brunswick, Ga.



Mr. Bruce was born on October 2 nd , 1951
in Brunswick, Ga. to Ruby Lee Whitley and the late James Bruce.



To family and friends Mr. Bruce was always known as “Bobby”.
He was a retired Master Carpenter and spent a lot of his spare time fishing. He
never had kids of his own, but he spread his love and compassion amongst his
family and friends. He spent the last years of his life taking care of his dear
mother. He will be missed by all who knew him.



Mr. Bruce is survived by his sister, Sharon (Gary)
Eubanks of Ray City, Ga.; his brothers, Larry (Hilda) Bruce of Hazelhurst, Ga.
and Danny (Rita) Whitley of Austin, Tx.; and his mother, Ruby Lee Whitley of
Woodbine, Ga.



Calling hours for Mr. Bruce’s family will be from 1 – 2 pm Thursday, June 20 th , 2019 at Coastal Camden Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow immediately at 2 pm in the Woods-Wainwright Chapel of the funeral home with Brother Therman Hayes presiding. Interment will be at Homeward Cemetery following the funeral services. Larry Bruce, Brian Bruce, Chadwick Bruce and Danny Whitley will serve as pallbearers.
