Mrs. Romona C. Allen Waller, age 64 of Griffin passed away Sunday, September 29, 2013 at Brightmoor Hospice.
Mrs. Waller was born on December 5, 1948 in Atlanta, GA to the late Ralph G. Allen and Muriel Tolleson Allen. Mrs. Waller was a member of First Baptist Church in Jackson, GA and a member of the Red Hat Society in Lexington, GA.
Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Reverend James L. Waller; son and daughter-in-law, Jeremy and Angela Waller of Woodstock, GA; daughters and sons-in-law; Tammy and John Kendall of Peachtree City, Faith and Brian Johnson of Jackson, GA; grandchildren, Mason and Maddox Waller, Cora Jane Kendall, Geoffry and Amber Johnson; mother, Muriel Tolleson Allen of Fayetteville, GA; family pet, Katie Belle.
Funeral services for Mrs. Romona Waller will be conducted Thursday, October 3, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Jackson, Ga. Reverend Ron Jackson and Reverend Joe Felder will officiate. Interment will follow in County Line Baptist Church Cemetery in Jenkinsburg, GA. Friends may visit the family on Wednesday, October 2, 2013 from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Waller will lie in state at the church from 1 p.m. until the service hour.
