Mrs. Ronda Wylene Colquitt, age 61, of Griffin passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2013.
Mrs. Colquitt was born on December 5, 1951 in Griffin, GA. Wylene worked in the nursing field for over 30 years and was very dedicated to her patients. She enjoyed spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren. She loved the Lord with all her heart and enjoyed listening to 104.7 The Fish and praising him.
She was preceded in death by her father, Wiley Carter; husband, David Colquitt; son, Jimmy Rooks; and grandchildren, Jonathan Pitts and Marianna Pitts.
Survivors include her mother, Ann Hill; daughter, Ronda Sullivan (Bill); son, Mike Pitts (Maria); step-daughter, Angie Morris (Tom); sisters, Lavan Cardell (Wenzell), Bonnie Carter (Bruce Schoffield) and Rita Avellino (Joe); brother, Wayne Carter (Christy); grandchildren, Nicholas Truitt, Nathan Truitt, Tiphani Truitt, Jacob Pitts, Hunter Sullivan and Lacey Sullivan; and great grandchild, Gracie Truitt.
Memorial Services Mrs. Ronda Wylene Colquitt will be held Friday, May 10, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home. Reverend Riley Fenley will officiate. Friends may visit the family from 1:00 P.M. until the service hour at the funeral home.
