Ruby Hutcherson

Ms. Ruby Mae Hutcherson , age 67, passed away December 3 rd , 2018 at Baptist Medical Center in Jacksonville, Fl.
She was born on December 18 th , 1950 in
Camden County, Georgia to the late Hugh and Leiler Gainus. Ms. Ruby graduated
from Camden County High School in 1971 and soon entered into the healthcare
field. She started working at Gilman Hospital, now Southeast Georgia Healthcare
System, as a certified nursing aid. She later became a licensed practical nurse
and remained with the hospital for 36 years.
Ms. Ruby is survived by her daughter, Arisee “Rez”
Hutcherson; her sister, Emily Gainus; nephews & nieces, Oliver Johnson,
Jr., Marilyn Johnson, Darrell Johnson, Timothy Johnson, Evant Gainus, and
Shannon Johnson.
Besides her parents, Hugh and Leiler, Ms. Ruby joins
her brother, Oliver Johnson, Sr. in Heaven.
She will be missed greatly by her family and
friends.
A celebration of Ms. Ruby’s life will be held at 1 pm on Saturday, January 12 th , 2019 at the First African Missionary Baptist Church of Kingsland, located at 495 North Lee Street Kingsland, Ga. Dr. Yvonne Johnson will be presiding over the service.
