Sandra H. (Shulamit) Duncan
February 9, 1954 – June 30, 2017
Sandra H. (Shulamit) Duncan, 63, of Griffin, Georgia died on Friday, June 30, 2017, surrounded by her family at Eternal Hope Hospice in Griffin, Georgia.
She was born on February 9, 1954 in Brookline, Massachusetts and has resided in the middle Georgia area for the past 25 years.
Sandra received a B.S. in education and always enjoyed teaching. She had been actively involved in several family businesses but her (Shulamit’s) passion was studying and teaching the Word of God. She was at peace and happy praising and dancing unto the Lord, fellowshipping with and worshipping God and sharing her testimony, the love of God and His desire for our salvation. Once you saw Sandra’s glowing smile, observed the passion she had for life and her beliefs, you became her friend. As a result, Sandra is survived by many, many fellow believers and friends.
Sandra created, manufactured and marketed ButterCups, all-natural spreadable creamed butters. She loved sharing ButterCups and her testimony during in-store demos, food shows and farmers’ markets. Sandra used ButterCups as a bridge to connect with people and to share her beliefs, testimony and concerns for healthy nutrition and living.

Also surviving are her brother Alan Herscott and wife Lori of Newton, Ma., her sister, Beth Benson and husband Woody of Boston, Ma., her brother David Herscott and wife Shelia of Philadelphia, Pa.
