Mrs. Sarah Akins Williams, age 87 of Stockbridge, GA passed away Monday, September 2, 2013 at Golden Living Center in Thomaston, GA.
Mrs. Williams was born in Etowah, Tennessee on May 31, 1926 to the late Levi L. Akins and the late Elzie Chastain Akins. She was also preceded in death by brothers, Norris, Lane and Edwin Akins. Sarah was a secretary for Federal Government for over 30 years. She was a member of the First Baptist of Morrow.
Survivors include her children, Ben Williams of San Diego, CA, Wayne and his wife Lorna Williams of Greenville, SC, Carolyn Toulson of Stockbridge, GA; grandchildren, Philip and Katie Williams, Wyatt, Jeff and Brad Toulson; great-grandchildren, Nathan and Aidan Toulson; sisters, Flora Felts of Macon, GA and Cleo Pearson of San Diego, CA.
Graveside funeral service for Mrs. Sarah Williams will be conducted on Wednesday, September 4, 2013 in Griffin Memorial Gardens. Reverend Myron McIntyre will officiate.
