At the tender age of 22, Sharanita Marie Jennings, also known as “Woo”, passed away unexpectedly the night of January 8th, 2016 at Shands hospital in Jacksonville Florida.
Sharanita was born on August 18th, 1993 in Milwaukee WI. She was the loving daughter of parents Samuel Lee and Betty Sue Smart. She attended grade school and middle school in Milwaukee, but later relocated to St. Mary’s GA with her family, where she graduated from Camden County High School. Sharanita then attended Sanford and Brown College, where she finished the Medical Assistance Program. She was a dedicated employee at Walmart in Jacksonville FL. Everyone knew her for her contagious smile, humble attitude, outgoing personality and kind heart. She loved receiving and giving hugs, partaking in jokes and plenty laughter, and being the all-around “life of the party.” She loved music and loved to dance. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her, especially her loving family.
Besides her parents, Ms. Jennings is survived by her sisters, Candice Jennings of Jacksonville FL, Destiny Smart of Jacksonville FL, Samyria Smart of Milwaukee, WI and Miranda Williams of NC and her brother, Samuel Lee Smart of Milwaukee WI; her grandparents, Anita “Cookie” Mosley and Edward Mosley of Le High Acres, FL; Sammy and Gloria Smart of Chicago, and Doris Pettis of Milwaukee, WI; Her two special aunts, Samantha Amaro Smart of St. Mary’s GA and Katie Williams of Milwaukee WI; one niece, Reina L. Smart and a host of other relatives.
A Celebration of Ms. Jennings’ Life will be held at 6 PM Friday, January 15th, 2016 in the Woods-Wainwright Chapel of Coastal Camden Funeral Home in Kingsland, GA.
Repast is being held at the Camden County Recreation Center in Kingsland GA following the celebration from 7p.m.-9p.m.
