Shirlie Brown

Mrs. Shirlie V. Brown, age 76, of Locust Grove, GA, passed away on Thursday, February 13, 2014 at Brightmoor Hospice.

Mrs. Brown was born in Rocky Mt., NC on July 30, 1937 to the late John Theodore Jones and the late Eva Newsome Jones. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Everette Wendell Brown and daughter, Wendy C. Brown-Moody.

Survivors include her daughter, Sonja L. Brown; son, Ronnie H. Brown; grandchildren, Joseph Stephens, Christina Brown-Warren and Rebecca W. Fetters; 2 great-grandchildren; sisters, Ola Moy and Dorothy Patterson; brother, Tommy Jones; son-in-law, Jr. Moody; sister-in-law, Brenda Brown; brother-in-law, Kenneth Brown; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorial services for Mrs. Shirlie V. Brown will be conducted on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at 2pm in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home. Intement will be private. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 18 from 6 pm – 8 pm at the funeral home.
