Susie Taylor

Mrs. Susie Taylor was born February 15, 1933 in Concord, GA. She was one of eleven children born from the union of the late Leroy and Lillie Neal. She was also preceded in death by her husband, George W. Taylor, two sons, John Wesley Taylor, David Lee Taylor and three brothers, Horace, Abraham, and Leroy, Jr.

Mrs. Taylor was united in Holy matrimony to George W. Taylor, Sr. This union was blessed with eight children.

Survivors include Lillian (Calvin) Orr of Pompano Beach, FL, Peggy (Lorenzo) Burton of Lawrenceville, Elaine Taylor, Athena Taylor, both of Griffin; two sons, Wilbur Taylor, Samuel Taylor; daughter-in-law, Jeanette Taylor; four sisters, Hannah James, Lillie Bell Hutcherson, Annie (Tim) Robertson, Bernice Robertson, all of Atlanta; three brothers, Floyd (Teddy) Neal, Robert Neal, both of Atlanta; Eddie James Neal of FL; 19 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Susie Taylor will be conducted on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at 1:00pm in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home. Reverend George Tomlinson will officiate. Interment will follow in Griffin Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit the family on Friday, February 21, 2014 from 6pm-8pm at the funeral home.
