May 15, 1939 — November 30, 2023

Tamara Lee Gabrinetti, “Tammy” to all those who knew and loved her, passed away peacefully at Community Hospice in Jacksonville, Florida, November 30, 2023.

Tammy was born in St. Joseph, Michigan, to Anna Lee (Tina) and Arthur R. Jones and raised in Mishawaka, Indiana.  She graduated high school in 1957.  She enjoyed attending University of Notre Dame football games with friends and family. Shortly after high school, Tammy traveled to California to experience life outside of Mishawaka and began working at Allied Signal/Bendix aerospace company.  There, she met and fell in love with John R. Gabrinetti and they married in 1963. Tammy and John enjoyed hosting parties, taking their boat out and water skiing, and traveling the world. Tammy returned to school while in California and received a bachelor’s degree in management from the University of Redlands in 1989.

Tammy was a woman of strength, loyalty, and tradition. After a 30+ year career with Allied Signal, Tammy retired – the first time.  However, a year or so into retirement, Tammy went back to work with a small growing company that needed to establish an HR department. After her husband of 38 years passed away in 2001, Tammy met and fell in love with Robert (Bob) Creo. Retiring again in 2004 , Bob and her moved to Kingsland, GA. Tammy never had children of her own, but loved her newfound role as a stepmother and especially loved becoming a Nana to Bob’s grandchildren. She was an avid reader and  enjoyed spending time with the members of  The Camden Book Club which she joined shortly after moving to Kingsland.  Tammy enjoyed movies, live dramas, crocheting and entertainment of all types.

Tammy’s life was filled with incredible journeys, travels, and families on two coasts.  She is preceded in death by her parents Aurther and Anna Lee, both of the loves of her life, John R. Gabrinetti and Robert R. Creo, and her most beloved furry companion - Toby. She is survived by her loving and devoted in-laws Tom (Gaylene) Gabrinetti and Paul Gabrinetti; cousin Anna Lee Rossi; stepchildren Michael (Resa) Creo, Bobby (Lisa) Creo, Stacy (Robert) Chadwick, Joyce Creo; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

May she rest in eternal peace ara Lee Gabrinetti, “Tammy” to all those who knew and loved her, passed away peacefully at Community Hospice in Jacksonville, Florida, November 30, 2023.
