Thelma Miller

Mrs. Thelma Miller was born April 22, 1938 in Spalding County, to the late Ides Moore and Sallie Weems Moore.
At an early age she joined Macedonia Baptist Church. During her lifetime she enjoyed praising the Lord, writing poems, reading the Bible and being with family. Later on she moved her membership to Mt. Moriah Baptist Church.

Mrs. Thelma Miller was preceded in death by her sisters, Betty (Raymond) Jordan and Georgie Mae Horton; and brothers, Peter Moore and Gene Moore.

Mrs. Miller leaves to cherish her memories one daughter, Sharon Miller-Dorise; one grandson, Lucius Dorise, Jr.; one sister, Elaine (Amos) Heath of Dayton, OH; four brothers, Roy Allen of Griffin, GA, Floyd Allen of Savannah, GA, Charles (Kathy) Moore, and Freddie Moore both of Dayton, OH; brother-in-law, Robert Horton; special aunt, Hazel Weems; special friend, Vanissa Jones of Dayton, OH; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Thelma Miller will be held Thursday, January 31, 2013 at 12:00 p.m. at Macedonia Baptist Church in Griffin, GA. Reverend Milton Goggins and Reverend Gregory Tyler will officiate. Interment will follow in Griffin Memorial Gardens.
