Mr. Thomas “Tommy-Tom” Owen Curtis, age 67 of Woodbine, Ga. passed away at 6:20 pm on February 6th, 2022.
Mr. Curtis was born August 7th, 1954 in Waco, Tx. to James Curtis and the late Marjorie Stewart Curtis.
Tom loved fishing on the rivers here and deep-sea fishing on the Atlantic Ocean here in Georgia. He loved working on the acreage here mowing, cutting trees, and burning and hauling off debris to the local dump. He loved his time with our “Fur Baby” Katie Lee, his kids, grandkids, great grandkids, his great great grandchild, and his family. Tom enjoyed his days of Truck Driving for 45 years and just recently driving for our next-door neighbor Chad George with his Dump Truck Business. Tom went from eighteen wheels to ten wheels and was enjoying it so much.
Mr. Curtis is survived by his beloved wife, Mary Curtis of Woodbine, Ga., and their precious Fur Baby, Katie Lee; his dad, James Curtis of Lilburn, Ga.; his siblings, Diana McCoy and her husband, Carl, James “Jimmy” Curtis and wife, Kathy, and Nancy Curtis Reddin; his children, Barbara “Barbie” and husband Johnnie Harrison, Bonnie Gaddie, and Billy Riskey; his stepchildren, David Byrd and wife Sandy, Sandra Roberts, Christie and Tommy Renfroe; his 18 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren with 2 more on the way, his great great grandchild; and numerous family, nieces, and nephews.
Mr. Curtis was preceded in passing by his mother, Marjorie Stewart Curtis; Wilbur Stewart, Sara Stewart, Thomas Curtis, Vera Curtis, Patricia “Pat” Curtis, and stepmother, Peggy Curtis.
A visitation will be held from 5 pm to 7pm Monday, February 14th, 2022 at Coastal Camden Funeral Home in Kingsland, Ga. A graveside service will be held at 2 pm Tuesday, February 15th, 2022 in Oxford Historical Cemetery in Oxford, Ga.
