Tina Hand

Mrs. Tina Louise McBryar Hand , age 46 of Woodbine, passed away at Southeast Georgia Health Systems in Brunswick, Ga. in the early evening of Tuesday, June 10, 2014.
Mrs. Hand was born in Brunswick, Ga. on March 14, 1968. She is the daughter of Virginia Lord Crews and the late Clyde Crews. Tina loved the everyday simple joys. Although she was very bashful, it didn’t keep her from experiencing all that life would bring her. Things, such as riding the lawn mower, watching NASCAR races or finding shows on the Life Channel, were a delight to her. She loved her family and interactions with them. Tina prized spending time with her mom, as much as she could, and especially helping her prepare holiday dinners. Tina adored baking and had a sweet tooth. She loved to see her son, Justin come for visits and to fuss with her husband, Vern over his need get ‘one more tool’ from the ToolMaster truck, although she loved him so. She cherished playing with her nieces and nephew, and loved all the kids. She would often tell her nieces, Jenni & Ashley how beautiful they were. Tina valued the importance of helping others and would make sure any needs were met for them ahead of time. She had her two dogs, which she loved to play with and Tina loved Jesus. Her husband would often find her praying all over house worshiping our Lord. She will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by those who knew and loved her.
Mrs. Hand is survived by her beloved husband, Vernon E. Hand of Woodbine, Ga.; her son Justin Eugene Hand of St. Marys, Ga.; her mother, Virginia Crews of Woodbine, Ga.; her sisters, April and David Tanner of Kingsland, Ga., Janice Griffin of Yulee, Fl., Maria Lloyd of Folkston, Ga. and Jan Oxendine of Jacksonville, Fl.; her brother Alan (Frances) Crews of Woodbine. Ga.; her nieces, Virginia (Art) Clever of St. Marys, Ga., and Ashley (Logan) Varnadore of Kingsland, Ga. and her great nephew & nieces, Landen, Aurelia, Scarlett, Savannah and Olivia.
Along with her father, Mrs. Hand joins her nephew, Banner Griffin and her Godmother, Frances Crews in Heaven.
Calling hours for the family will be from 7 to 9 PM Friday, June 13, 2014 at Coastal Camden Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 10 AM, Saturday, June 14, 2014 in the Wainwright Chapel of Coastal Camden Funeral Home with Pastor Chris Ogden presiding. Pallbearers will be Mr. Hand’s brothers, Roger, Mark, Elbert, David, Edward & Colt. Interment will be held in Colesburg Cemetery in Woodbine, Ga. following the service.
