Tommy Lee Marr , age 63 of Saint Marys, Ga., passed away on Tuesday, May 21st, 2013.
He was born in Saint Marys, Georgia on November 22nd, 1949. He was a paper worker in shipping at Gilman Paper Company. He retired from AJM as a machine adjuster. He loved spending time with his family, including his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Many of the things he liked to do were fishing, hunting, horseshoe playing and family outings.
He was preceded in passing by his parents, Bernie Prince Marr and Athel Ophelia Radford Foskey; his son, Ross Lee Marr; his brother, James Earl Foskey; his sisters, Prince Paulette Marr Mitchell, Emma Louise Marr Green, Jaqueline Betty- Jean Foskey Smith and his father in law, Germane Duffy.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Ann Duffy Marr; his three daughters, Arminda Leann Marr and her husband Michael, Tammy Renee Lenchert and her husband Troy’ and Annalisa Anest; his grandchildren, Ross Michael Leo Provenzano, Kayla Lowder and her husband Matt, Stephanie Thomas, Tracie Thomas, Doug Popp, Donovan Popp, Devin Neal and Madison Lowder; his great grandchildren, Payton Lowder, Mathew Lowder, Mason Lowder, Jackson Miller, and Maybree Popp; his brothers, Robert Marr, Sr. and his wife Shirley, Jack Foskey, Sr. and his wife Deborah and John Thomas Foskey; his Godson, Christopher Overstreet; four of his very close friends, Ricky Kidd, Roy Crews, Sammy Spradley and DeWayne Miller; plus a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A family run graveside service will be held starting at 11 AM, Saturday, May 25th, 2013 at Oak Grove Cemetery in Saint Marys, Ga. A memorial vehicle lineup will be at 10 AM at the home of Tommy Marr.
Honorary Pallbearers are his nephews, Allen Mitchel Green, Rudy Hamilton Smith, David Lee Foskey, Jack Wesley Foskey, Jr., John Richard Smith, Marvin Wayne Green, Jr., Robert Lawton Marr, Jr., Paul Raymond Foskey, Ernest Lloyd Manning, Sr., and Prince Arthur Manning.
