Tony Richard Crews, 64 passed away at Southeast Georgia Health System Camden Campus on July 22, 2021. Tony was born on April 14, 1957, to the late Mason and Dolly Crews in Screven Georgia. He has lived in Camden Co. since 1958. He graduated from Camden County High School in 1975. He was employed by Readdick’s Gas, Milton Readdick from 1973-82. He started work for Borden Ink in 1982. He was employed by Mulch Manufacturing Inc. as the Plant Manager currently for several years. Also, he currently worked for A & A Wrecker and Russells Wrecker Services. Tony was thought of with great respect, a hardworking loyal employee that is irreplaceable.
He enjoyed spending time with his wife and grandson Trace. He loved fishing with his son Mark. Working at the plant with his son David. Family gatherings were a favorite of his. Tony had a heart of gold. He was gentle, kind, and caring. He was a precious man. He was loved by everyone who knew him. His smile and laughter will forever be etched in our hearts.
He is survived by his wife Jackie Crews, his son Mark Crews (Jennifer) and son David Young, his grandson Trace, his sisters Linda Hamon (Edward), Theresa Nelson, Jan Gillette (Billy), nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins who were like sibling’s. He is proceeded in death by his father Mason Crews, his granny Mary M. Page, his mother Charlene Smith, his grandma Myra Gay, his Aunt Judy Gay, and his birth mother Dolly Brinkley.
Coastal Camden Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. A public celebration of life will be held at a later date.
