Mrs. Trudy M. Avara, age 69, of Crawfordville, GA, passed away on Monday, January 20, 2014 in Milner, GA.
Mrs. Avara was born in Duluth, GA on July 7, 1944 to the late Zollie Dean Smith and the late Ethel Hortense Bennett Smith. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Donald Avara. Mrs. Avara proudly served her country in the U.S. Air Force.
Survivors include her daughter, Sheila Smith; sons, David Smith, Leroy McCollum, Daryl McCollum; sister, Berinda Campbell; brother, Earl Smith; 6 grandchildren and 2 great- grandchildren.
