Vickie Schwarz

Mrs. Vickie Ann Schwarz, age 63 of Woodbine, Ga. passed away in the early morning hours of Friday, April 17th, 2020 hand in hand with her husband and her daughter.

Mrs. Schwarz was born on February 2nd, 1957 in Ocala, Fl. to Eulalia Rogers and the late Robert Rogers.
She never met a stranger and wouldn't hesitate to hug your neck -- her hugs were heartwarming, but don’t think that an ice cube down the back of your shirt wasn’t coming soon after. She was the ultimate southern lady with a mischievous streak. She was beautiful, not just inside, but really an all-encompassing kind of beautiful. Her smile was infectious, she laughed straight from her soul. She took the time to learn about others and always managed to turn any conversation about her into a conversation about you. She loved TV crime docudramas, cooking, quilting, catering to others, her dogs, and more than anything, her family. Married 40 years, her and her husband shared a love that would make the movies jealous. They were intertwined all the way to their veins. Her life was lived well and pure. She always did for others and put her own wellbeing behind everybody else. She was the kind of lady that tipped the drive-thru people, hugged the baggers and would never let you leave her house hungry. That was her way. It was her hallmark. It was her purpose.

Mrs. Schwarz is survived by her husband, Thomas W. Schwarz, Jr. of Woodbine, Ga.; her daughter, Angela Stevens of Savannah, Ga.; her son, Joshua (Melina) Schwarz of Murietta, Ca; her mother, Eulalia Rogers of Ocala, Fl.; her brother, Richard (Ara) Rogers of Tampa, Fl.; her sister, Jodie (David) McGregor of Newberry, Fl.; her grandchildren, Auriana Stevens, Annmarie Schwarz, and Joseph Schwarz; and a multitude of nieces, nephews, and friends.

A private memorial service will be held by the family at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mrs. Schwarz's honor to the American Cancer Society or another cancer organization of your choice.
