Vicky Bruce

Mrs. Vicky Ann Bruce , age 59 of Kingsland, Ga. passed away in the early morning hours of Thursday, August 24 th , 2017 at Baptist Health in Jacksonville, Fl.
Mrs. Bruce was born February 7 th , 1958 in Brunswick, Ga. to Margaret Jewel McCallum and the late Billy Dean Dew.
Vicky’s life would seem too short to many, but the years she walked this earth she made the most of every minute. She was a woman of strong faith and someone who showed love to all who knew her. She was the most giving, caring, unselfish person most would know. She made people see the good in themselves and to believe they could do and be anything they wanted to be. Time with her family, especially her 2 grandchildren (Connor & Skylar) is what she treasured most in life. She was a terrific wife, wonderful mom, fun mimi, and a true friend which will be missed by all. She was a blessing to all of those who knew her.
Mrs. Bruce is survived by her beloved husband, Cyril Lang Bruce of Kingsland, Ga.; her daughter, Tiffany (Brent) Evans of Fernandina Beach, Fl.; her sisters, Robin (Alan) Young of Fernandina Beach, Fl. and Christie (Ben) Musgrove of Middleburg, Fl.; her grandchildren, Connor and Skylar Evans; her nieces, Taylor (Ben) Rambow and Sierra Dixon along with several other nieces and nephews; and her dog, Dolleye.
Calling hours for the Bruce family will be from 5 pm to 7 pm Sunday, August 27 th , 2017 at Coastal Camden Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 11 am Monday, August 28 th , 2017 in the Old Sanctuary of the Kingsland First United Methodist Church with Pastor Paul Dupree and Pastor Devon Shultz presiding. Interment will follow at Lawnwood Cemetery in Kingsland, Ga. Pallbearers will be Brent Evans, Edward Bruce, Cameron Bruce, Flip Skipper, Windel Ward, and Alan Young. Honorary Pallbearers will be Brian Stone and Julian Stone.
