Mr. Virgil Pinks, Sr. age 80 of Barnesville, GA passed away Monday, March 4, 2013 at Vitas Hospice in Stockbridge, GA.
Mr. Pinks was born on January 21, 1933 in Royalton, KY to the late Caloup Pinks and the late Ruth Pinks. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Pinks, 4 sisters and 4 brothers. He retired from Grand Trunk Western Railroad where he worked as a Track Inspection Supervisor and was a member of Midway Baptist Church in Barnesville.
Survivors include his daughters, Debbie Davis and Janice Atterberry; sons, Jimmy Lee Pinks, Virgil Pinks, Jr., and James Pinks; grandchildren, Lisa, Jessica, Michael, John, Tyler, Amanda, Zack and Megan; great-grandchildren, Jacob and Aydee; 2 sisters and 3 brothers.
