Vivian Williams

Mrs. Vivian H. Williams, age 61, of Griffin, GA departed this earthly life on Monday, January 6, 2014.

Mrs. Vivian Henderson Williams was born on February 18, 1952 to the late Willie Ruth Henderson in Barnesville, GA. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Erlester Williams, Sr.

Mrs. Williams attended Booker High School in Barnesville. She accepted Christ as her Savior in November 1980 at the age of 28 and rededicated her life to Jesus in 2006 at age 54. Mrs. Williams was a member of World Changers Church. On April 25, 1970, Vivian Henderson was joined in matrimony to Erlester Williams, Sr. in Barnesville and their union was blessed with 1 child.

Mrs. Williams leaves to cherish her memory: son, Erlester Williams, Jr.; 2 granddaughters, Brittany Jefferson, Endya Hickman; 2 brothers, Willie Ben McCrary of Tampa, FL, Manuel Henderson of Savannah; 3 sisters, Martha Henderson of Griffin, Joyce Watts of Riverdale, Kathleen Henderson of Griffin; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Memorial Services for Mrs. Vivian H. Williams will be held this afternoon at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home. Minister Laura Karter will officiate.
