Mr. Wayne Preston Hawkins , age 24 of Kingsland, Ga., passed away in Kingsland on Tuesday afternoon, June 24th, 2014.
Mr. Hawkins was born on July 23rd, 1989 in Fernandina Beach, Fl. He is the son of Ricky Wayne Hawkins, and Candy C. & Eddie Horne. Mr. Hawkins family said of him “Wayne was a goodhearted soul with an intelligent mind. He was an amazing son, brother, uncle and daddy. He loved to cook, draw, read and go on adventures. He always kept his friends laughing and entertained. His daughter Daphne was his world. May he rest in peace.”
Mr. Hawkins is survived by his parents; his sister; Heather Renee Hawkins of Saint Marys, Ga.; his girlfriend, Rachel Sweeny and his daughter, Daphne D. Hawkins, both of Savannah, Ga.; his grandmother, Betty Jo Colson of Yulee, Fl.; and his nephew, Johnny Preston Gunn.
A celebration of his life will be held on Thursday, July 3rd, 2014 starting at 1 PM in the Wainwright Chapel of Coastal Camden Funeral Home, with Brother Orville Saunders presiding.
