William Berry

Mr. William Berry, age 82, of Griffin, Georgia, passed away on Monday, December 29, 2014.

Mr. Berry was born on August 24, 1932, in Barnesville, Georgia, to the late Alfonza Berry and the late Selema Berry. He joined Shiloh Baptist at an early age, where he served on the Deacon Board until his death. He retired from Boyd Builders Supply.

He was preceded in death by his wife, the late Mary Frances Berry. Into that union, he raised two children, Mary Ann Evans Fletcher and the late Bobby Ray Evans; later in that union, two children were born, Demetria Wileen Berry-Jackson (Barry), and Tamika Dawntari Berry. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Mr. Wilber Walker and Mr. Roscoe Jester. He is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Mamie C. Goodrum (Lemanuel), Mrs. Sally Collier, and Mrs. Virginia Folds (Richard); five brothers, Willie Lee, Eddie Lee, Joseph (Anita), Ronnie Lewis, and Earnest (Amy); ten grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
