Mr. William “Cory” Cleveland

Mr. William “Cory” Cleveland, age 56, of Griffin, GA passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 2015, at his residence.

Mr. Cleveland was born in Griffin, GA, on December 9, 1958. He was preceded in death by his father, Calvin Lee Cleveland, and sister, Cindy Brown. Mr. Cleveland attended Oak Hill Baptist Church. He loved to fish and hunt, and was an avid NASCAR fan.

Survivors include his mother, Eva Mae Hancock; son, Toby Cleveland; sisters and brothers-in-law, Cathy and Craig Gordy of Griffin, Mary and Clay Gregg of Griffin, and Kim Cleveland of Dayton Beach, FL; brothers and sisters-in-law, Mickey and Carolyn Cleveland of McDonough and Allen Cleveland of Jonesboro; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service for Mr. William “Cory” Cleveland will be conducted on Thursday, June 4 at 6 p.m. in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home. Craig Gordy will officiate. Friends may visit the family from 4:00 p.m. until the service hour on Thursday.
