Mr. William N. “Billy” Rice, Jr. age 56, of Griffin, GA passed away on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at Grady Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Rice was born August 9, 1960 in Griffin, GA. He was a self-employed painter, and an outgoing person who loved to be around his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Elizabeth Rice.
Survivors include his parents, Annie R. and William N. Rice, Sr.; estranged wife, Kay S. Rice; daughters and son-in-law, Michelle and Colby Wilson, and Melisa Roundtree; son and daughter-in-law, Billy and Karen Rice; grandchildren, Dakota Rice, Destiny Rice, Kaleb Rice, Madison Wilson, Aidan Wilson and Kadin Wilson; sisters and brother-in-law, Deloris and Tim Arnold, and Gloria Rice; brother and sisters-in-law, Julian and Deborah Rice, James and Jackie Rice, and Mike and Kim Rice; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services for Mr. William N. “Billy” Rice, Jr. will be held on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Rehoboth Baptist Church Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family Monday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
